No photos today. Progress was made in rerouting plumbing and completing subflooring. Wood for floors was delivered as well as the cabinets. So a good part of the day was spent shuffling materials around in our tiny space.
When we arrived home this evening everything looked great except the dripping in the middle of the kitchen right where our new island will be! We put a bucket under it and called Joe, the project manager at Boyer Remodeling. Within 15 minutes the plumber was back at our house and spent the next hour redoing the two leaks that had formed. We were grateful he returned and that we didn't have to deal with it after a long day at work.
This project is mushrooming from our original vision (as projects like this often do). Our kitchen remodel has begun to include more of the family room (we decided to update lighting in there in addition to the flooring), mudroom, and now the roof (due to our little leaking siding problem). Sigh. Good thing I've got a job.
