Surprises.

Today was our first day with the contractors onsite.  They completed a lot of work!  

We had a couple surprises.  First off, there is some plumbing where our doorway is supposed to be.  Those will have to be moved. 

Second, we have some water coming in behind our siding.  The roof from the garage angles right onto this spot. You can see the exposed sheathing, or what is left of the sheathing!   We'll need to put some sort of deflector on the roof this weekend and replace some sheathing this summer.

They also started installing subflooring.  The maple hardwood should go in Wednesday.

Recessed light cans are installed!
